We are pleased to invite you to an informational webinar about Alliance 8.7.
Alliance 8.7 is a global partnership taking immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labour, modern slavery, human trafficking and child labour, in accordance with SDG Target 8.7. In order to accelerate progress towards target 8.7, the Alliance provides a platform for partners to share information, promising practices, lessons learned, collaborate and demonstrate progress.
The webinar is an opportunity for survivor networks and civil society organizations to learn about the work of Alliance 8.7 and how they might engage with the Alliance Pathfinder Countries. The webinar will feature work by Alliance 8.7 partners Free the Slaves and Global March Against Child Labour on inclusion of survivors and civil society organizations in the Pathfinder Country process.
Alliance 8.7 respects the privacy of all webinar participants. Registration information will be kept strictly confidential within the Alliance 8.7 Secretariat. The only communication that participants will receive after the webinar will be a voluntary follow-up survey, to include an option to receive further communications from Alliance 8.7.
To protect privacy in the webinar, participants may log-in to Zoom using an alias or anonymously. Further, Alliance 8.7 requests that participants not share information about other participants or content raised in the Q&A to project the privacy of all who join the webinar. Cameras will not be enabled for participants during the webinar. The webinar will not be recorded.
