4 champions that you should know

Intro

Different approaches, same goal

Today, activists from around the world are speaking up about the need to end child labour and forced labour. This story highlights just a few of them: an ILO project coordinator in Uganda, a humanitarian photographer, a Colombian miner and leader against child labour, and an award-winning Brazilian actor. Their approaches differ, but they are united in their mission to build a better world for kids.

Some of them have been in child labour themselves. Others travel around the world to bear witness to the problem, raising awareness as they go. Still others remember what they’ve seen in their lives, and use their platforms today to speak up for what they believe in.

Read on to learn who they are, what sparked their activism, and how you can take action, too.
